The toll is mounting: tens of thousands detained, thousands dead

NEWS CENTRE - According to a statement by the HRANA organisation, 6,886 people have been killed and 50,842 protesters detained in protests in Iran and Rojhilat so far; in addition, 11,021 protesters have been injured.
 
The Human Rights Organisation (HRANA) has published a report containing the latest toll of arrests, detentions and deaths during protests in Rojhilat and Iran. HRANA reported that since the protests began, 6,886 people have been killed, 50,842 protesters have been detained, and 11,021 protesters have been injured.
 
It was noted that 6,445 of those killed were protesters, 164 of whom were children. It was also stated that 214 were members of forces affiliated with the Iranian regime and 109 were university students. In addition, it was stated that 60 people who did not participate in the protests also lost their lives.
 
According to HRANA, 11,046 people were summoned to give statements to security agencies affiliated with the Iranian regime. In addition, 307 records containing forced confessions were published.
